Bitcoin Knowledge Sources
Cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, are slowly but steadily getting more and more attention from the mainstream media. This new-found attention from the media, in part caused by the recent surge in the price of Bitcoin, is more than welcome as it will help bring global awareness to this new technology and accelerate Bitcoin's path to mass adoption thereby ushering in the new era of cryptocurrencies.
Just as it has been the case with most new and innovative technologies however, the workings and purpose of cryptocurrencies is often poorly or misunderstood by the mainstream media, resulting in inaccurate information on the subject being spread in the media and over the internet. At the same time, we are witnessing a surge of people on the internet that are blogging or vlogging about cryptocurrencies, portraying themselves as so-called cryptocurrency experts, while truth be told they do not have a fundamental understanding of the underlying technology but are in fact rather clueless.
Realizing it is difficult for a novice to find reliable sources of information about cryptocurrencies and more in particular about Bitcoin, we at Bitcoin Gear have set out to create the below (non-exhaustive) list of individuals who we believe to be among the top Bitcoin experts in the world. The below individuals are major players in the Bitcoin space and are in our opinion among the most knowledgeable people and most reliable sources of information regarding Bitcoin available on the internet for anyone who 's seeking to gain a better understanding of the technology. In this regard we also highly recommend taking a look at our list of books about Bitcoin and blockchain technology.
The below list is however far from being complete, so if you can think of anyone to add to the below list do not hesitate to let us know.
